Some people don't have leadership qualities that's why I don't respect leaders of all Nigerian sociocultural groups. They know nothing other than endangering the lives of people into conflicts and uncertainty by always inciting ethno-religious tension.
No where in the world u can see a nation or group of people producing all their basic needs themselves, we all need each other for our basic needs irrespective of whether we're together as a nation or separate entities.
If only southerners know how people farm in the North they'll never think this way. Almost everywhere in he North is farm except grazing land, forest reserves & residential areas but still we can't feed this nation coupled with what south produces.
This strike isn't a Northern matter but traders who want their grievances heard because of looting and killings by some hoodlums, are they not humans? they even chose civil way to let their voice heard!

Let's everyone maintain his path of survival; those in technology and innovation should go on their path, those in manufacturing should keep on their lane, those in agriculture should also maintain for the nation to meet the global standard of development.

Okay, using your stats,
Lagos consumes 8,000 cows a day.
It's calculated that a cow costs 200k

In a year, it means Lagos alone will consume 2,920,000 cows. Multiply that by 200,000, that gives N584B per annum.

Now here are my questions :

1. How many cows are in Nigeria, to the extent that Lagos alone will consume almost three million cows a year. Are they plucking cows like Tomatoes?

2. If Lagos alone consumes nearly 3 million cows a year, that means the South entirely will consume 14,600,000 cows per annum, and multiplied by 200,000 that gives 2,920,000,000,000. That's almost 3Trillion naira spent on beef alone in the South.
Note, we've not taken into consideration what's spent by the North.

3. If we so much love beef, then who are the people consuming the chicken and turkey imported to the tune of 1.2 million metric tonnes annually?

Great analysis. Bravo!

you have point but kindly edit,Nigerians don't fight for God rather its some Muslims in Nigeria that fight and protect their helpless gods in form of religion.
