@Spyder,
great stuff. I am also working towards building a bungalow in my hometown (4bedroom unit and a 2 bed room unit) on a plot of land measuring 60ftX100ft. Please advise on total cost (ballpark) spent on your project so far.
I am not planning to have swimming pool nor high ceiling

Well done spyder.

Oga you may have made different choices which is understandable...but owner of this house made their choices...they put their money where their mouth is...

Hello descarado,
Please learn to respect people's choice and opinion. For the fact that you didn't like his choice doesn't mean he made a bad choice.

There are better ways of saying this.

One man's food is another one's poison.

I come in peace,thank you.

While everyone is entitled to their opinion, it is rather very rude to Call whatever choices someone made with his own money.. In his own property bad..

You must understand the weight of your careless talk! And you must also know that it is merely privilege to be able to see this part of the construction process.

It is because of people like you that so many builders don't show the interior works of the buildings they work on.

Snap ur bathroom and let us seee the luxury.

in my opinion, once a window is above 6ft high, your best bet is to use horizonal lines so for it to be sturdy and not wobbly.

Anyway look at these samples of burglaries

The picture of the burglary you posted is vertical, not horizontal or am I missing something?

let's say a window is above 6ft, what I do is to divide the burglary into two equal design. That way, I ensure that the design remains same without looking out of shape.

If you look at the windows done by Oga mi, they're all very big

These are very different, these frames have an extended pillar which allowed the burglary to go through each of the aluminium pillars and thus provides the needed support. This is a feature with these new profiles.
