Is that not why those who fought the war in 1967 are still screaming marginalization till today, boycotting election today then Atikulating tomorrow and begging political parties to zone the presidency to them?
War is zoo mentality, never a solution.

First of all the igbos did dominated other Nigerian ethnic groups back then, it was by merit and hardwork, it was never through aggression , in fact tribalism was introduced to Nigeria by awolowo and the northerners, the igbos only preached unity back then

You guys will never ever face the truth about the real origin of all these and move on with intelligent solutions. Propaganda will never replace the truth.

The Igbos led by Azikiwe colluded with the North to gain power at the center in 1959 when Awolowo's AG team were tricked into waiting for them on a meeting to negotiate a way forward after the general elections that left the dominant NPC unable to form a government without a coalition. The North already reached out to the West via Akintola but the West decided to consult with the East first. What did your people do? They went up North to strike a deal with the North.

Your 'merit and hardwork' led to your people using that 'opportunity' to dominate the federal service, foreign service, international scholarships etc. That did not stop the West from progressing and that was before the Oil dominance in our economy. You guys decided to dine with the devil and you are still reaping the fruit till today. You played 'smart' as usual and now it's other people's fault! Smart again? grin

Stop changing history, zik was a popular figure in Nigeria, his party NCNC defeated awolowos party even in yoruba land, yorubas voted for him, so how was that a collusion with the North?
Awolowo was a bigot, zik was a nationalist who saw himself as a Nigerian first before ethnic group, he spoke hausa, yoruba and igbo fluently, there was nothing like colluding with anyone to seize power at the center, zik got it by pure merit

By merit and hardwork gave us the dominant, don't forget Nigeria was still under Colonia Rule back in the 50s and igbos were never the favorites of the colonial masters

Many of these naive teenagers fueling ethnic crises have no idea what they're saying.

In wars, no one losses and no one wins. Only the weapon dealers (America and co) win.

Till today, the south East is yet to fully recover from the biafra civil war.

Go to Ife and modakeke in Osun State. They're yet to recover from their foolish ethnic war.

Only naive teenagers who take their knowledge from hollywood would think wars are entertaining.

Should I burst your brain?
Many of the Igbos who were kids during the biafran war and manged to survive curse their fathers for going into that foolish war. People's brothers were forcefully recruited and given arms. Mothers and children starved helplessly.

Yes, many herdsmen are causing so much havoc but this tribal profiling is not a step in the right direction. In fact, the best way to solve it is by having insiders. We need to identify the non-criminal ones and work with them to deal with the criminals. Now, how can someone you're calling a devil be willing to provide help.

We shouldn't slaughter logic and rationale on the alter of emotions.

There was no civil war in Nigeria. It was genocide on the Igbos and their Eastern minorities.

Which part of the North or Western Nigeria was destroyed?

War is all about peace, a different kind of peace from the existing one. War is good, without it many nations today would have still being in shackles. One things I've come to understand is that those that are against war are those benefitting from the existing status quo.

Why the threat, must it be about war?

Can't we disintegrate or restructure peacefully

Anytime oppressed people talk about getting their fair share, they respond with war stories

How was it a genocide? Igbos started the fight. How can you start a war and then call it a genocide?

Genocide only applies to people killed in cold blood. You should revisit your dictionary for the correct meaning of genocide.

Nobody is calling for war, last time i checked people are protecting themselves from fulani militias that is rated 4th most deadly terrorist group which they have code named bandits in some parts of the country.
The idea that people are calling for war by defending their lands is unfounded and doesn't hold water. Go and check the number of communities these fulani militia men have disseminated and you will delete that your write up.

Nobody is calling for war? Are you naive or just feigning ignorance?

Pls be mindful of what you say or the ghost of long departed ones will haunt you. No igbo cirizen cursed their fathers for fighting that war. Pls don't speak what you don't know.
It was a war that was unavoidable. There was two choices before the igbo tribes: to fold their hands and allow the pogrom to swallow them in death or to die honorably In a war defending themselves. They chose the most honorable path.

Today the same thing is replaying itself again.: fold your hands and allow Fulani terrorist s to slaughter you or stand up and defend yourself to the death.
Las las, the honorable path will be chosen if these vampires continue.

The solution is simple: RANCHING

With what is going on in the Country, sincerely war is better, whereas somebody is thinking sucide and some committing sucide because of imbalance between the rich and the poor, war still remain the best option for this Country.

You are pouring out emotions not facts of history, typical of your people. You dined with the devil “on merit” and when they started mauling you “on merit“ in 1967 you were expecting the Yoruba bigots to bail you out abi? Now it’s the fault of the Yorubas who are cowards because they didn’t help you.
You are towing the same path again thinking you will defeat the ‘boy scout’ army of Nigeria when we all know you are the laughing stock who can even defeat the US Army on the internet but loud pussies in real life and experts at running away after starting a fight lol
