The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has pledged to ensure that justice is served in the case of the arrest of some members of the Oodua Peoples Congress and Fulani warlord Iskilu Wakili in Kajola Area of Ibarapa North Local Government Area of the state.

According to a press statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, the Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command, CP Ngozi Onadeko, has already given the assurance that a thorough investigation would be launched into the security situation.

The governor promised to ensure that only those found wanting or those who have broken the law would be dealt with in accordance with the law of the land.

Adisa quoted Makinde: “Let me also talk about the issue of security, which is also germane. I am aware of what is going on at Kajola in Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State.
