uuzba: Were you working your full hours Students only work 20hrs a week If as a Student you earn what you say you earn, imagine someone who isnt a student. You earn 950 as a call center agent which is equivalent to what a Mid Level banker earn in Nigeria, thats a big achievement imo. Being an experience worker opens more doors, you cannot talk about proper standard of living if you are a student please |

uuzba: I understand your feeling, but one of the major mistakes you made was to plan or leave the house you rented for 250 pounds as a student One of the really easy ways to make it in the UK and the years would not turn to years upon years with nothing to show for it is either to live with a family member for free or a parent for free or for next to nothing or you just continue living life like a frugal student Yes its almost unexplainable having a professional job on a good salary but still living in a a cramped student house with sometimes no heating or cooking Even girls wont want to date you, cos you wont even try bringing girls home But the benefit is that you will have a lot of disposable income left, a lot of it The idea is that you bring this to nigeria as capital and try something out with it Or bettter still after the years accumulate, get a mortgage in the uk but beware it may make you trap you into the UK system Trust me there is no other way around it living in the UK except above The other way is credit card fraud or something else just speaking from experience bro 1 Like |

ephbe:Ok. I think I made a mistake. I was a student for 1+ year, and after graduation 3 years, full time. So I remember the £950 more because I spent more time earning that as my maximum salary. The student salary must have been around £400 then. Times were tough O. My life was just miserable everyday. We just didn't see the money. When you see small, transport will chop it. When you are full time, extra tax will chop that one. Visa/extension will come and chop its own. |

is it just me but as of recent There are some big boys in Lagos , owerri, PH that some people who come from abroad can never compete with Like on a friday night, Eko hotel would be fully booked up and i am wondering how many working class Nigerians living in the US can come to Nigeria on holiday and spend recklessly like that without thinking twice Same with UK folks too before they buy anything in Nigeria they have already converted it All of a sudden some Lekki apartments are more expensive than some London homes that is more than 500 years old And there is still insane poverty in nigeria and in lagos at the same time too So its so unexplaniable what is going on 2 Likes |
