Fela sang suffering and smiling in 1979, but this song resonates as though it was released a couple of months back.

Just like in the song, Nigerians have continued to suffer and smile with the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. As if the government is doing us a huge favour we keep going back and forth with the minimum wage.

As a nation when are we going to acknowledge our problem let alone addressing them, because as it is we keep tossing matters and playing the blame game.
