Today, Evercare Hospital, Lekki was officially unveiled and is open to the general public. The hospital is a positive development in Lagos state because we believe that a strong healthcare system rests on both private and public sector investments.

For us as a government, we have increased our capital expenditure on health. We are currently renovating six of our general hospitals and are currently building two new general hospitals and a children's hospital. We are also building an international research centre.

All these developments are to make healthcare accessible and affordable. The goal is to stop medical tourism. With good facilities, we will reduce the cost of healthcare and still provide quality healthcare.

Hospital for the rich, beyond the means of the average lagosian. How people make huge profits from people's pain is still a mystery to me.

Nice one from Lagos State Government, other state governors, especially Northern governors ought to emulate Lagos State in terms of infrastructure and innovation.

Lagos State government has created enabling environment for investors.

This hospital took awhile before completion. It has been in construction since fashola regime or before sef. Lest no one should give Sanwo Olu the credit.
