Sources have it that Cristiano Ronaldo’s proposed move to the Premier League last season suffered a major setback, superagent Jorge Mendes reveals.
Ronaldo and Juventus teammates were dumped out of the Champions League by FC Porto and the Portuguese was criticized by fans for letting Sergio Oliveira’s set-piece pass through his legs
The 36-year-old has been linked with a move to the MLS and the Chinese Super League at the end of the season.
However, Italian journalist Emanuele Gamba attached to Calcio Mercato revealed that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner would see the remainder of his contract with the Turin-based side. Gamba revealed that Ronaldo had been offered to his former club Man United and PSG by his agent Mendes last season.
