Road Construction: The Eruwa project started from Eruwa junction in Ife and Garage Olode in Ifewara, which is 8.2km. The project was awarded by the Federal Ministry of Works for N600 million in 2010 and was abandoned by the contractor . Redeemed Christian Church of God executed that same project for N188 million from 2016-2019 at a cost of N22.9 million per KM and when this same contract is awarded by a state or federal goverment it is executed at prices ranging from N1-2.1 billion per KM. Even after RCCG executed the project the contractor that abandoned the project received payment from the Ministry of Works. Which prompted RCCG to petition the Senate. "Part of the petition read, “The rehabilitation of the road was awarded and paid for by Pastor Enoch Adeboye in the sum of N188,440,342, hence the claim by Cartil Construction Nigeria Limited was illegal and unjust. “The project started from Eruwa junction in Ife and Garage Olode in Ifewara, which is 8.2km. We have details of all the seven companies that supplied us with the materials used to execute the project. They delivered all the materials on site. We have supplied details of the projects to the committee." In Nigeria, the CSJ report said a kilometre of road costs between N400 million and over N1 billion, an amount the report described as outrageous. According to the report, a 9.52 kilometre Ibadan Township road in Oyo State was awarded at the cost of N5.8 billion, which is approximately N609.24 per KM. And recently the the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano 375km road was awarded at N797 billion at a cost of N2.1 billion naira per km. The Church is the light in the world and has exposed the massive corruption that had being going on in road construction contracts handled at state and federal level that has turned civil servants, politicians and their contractor collaborators to overnight billionaires. 2 Likes 2 Shares

Redeemed Christian Church of God members should put pressure on their G.O as a matter of national emergency to setup a construction company. Nigeria has one of the worst road networks in the world that has costs hundreds of thousand of lives, due to the spirit of principalities and powers of corruption that has taken hold of it's leaders. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wg7lfHL_l1w 2 Likes 1 Share |

Monogamy:What has been the outcome of all the probes ranging from the $12 billion dollar Gulf windfall under IBB, depletion of Central Bank under Abdusalami during his 9 month tenure,$16 billion power contract under OBJ,the $180 million dollar Halliburton bribery scandal,Ganduje $5 million bribes caught on tape,Tinubu's Alpha Beta N100 billion tax invasion and Buratai Dubai mansions just to name a few. I am been practical, due to the fact 99% of civil servants, politicians and military generals all get away with their loot. 1 Like 1 Share

RuudVanNisteroy: Guy, na wah for you... For someone to forfeited $460k, no be case closed be that? The money that was forfeited wasn't Tinubu's personal money but the person using his account for laundering. Usa is not Nigeria that their judges can be easily bribed.. If he Tinubu was found guilty, they would have sentenced him to jail, America don't play with that. Then one needs to ask why you keep on opening threads for a case that was closed decades ago 3 Likes |

Monogamy:According to the court documents, drug barons Adegboyega Mueez Akande and Abiodun Agbele did all the dirty work in the streets, and had the money laundered through their godfather Bola Tinubu's accounts.

The project was launched by President Muhammadu Buhari in November 2018 at a cost of N73 billion to the Dangote Group under the tax credit scheme with a completion period of two years. Oshodi apapa that's is less than 40 km is costing N73b. The same people that vowed to root out corruption ned to make some explanations 2 Likes 1 Share |

kettykin:That is an average of N1.825 billion per km. Even if you have to pay compensation to landowners and are building the road on a swamp it shouldn't cost that much. Some people in government , namely the former Chicago drug baron and bullion van godfather are trying to surpass Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk on Forbes list. Eko O ni Baje.

RuudVanNisteroy: What the fùck are you really talking about, is it their responsibility? If they do that, what happens to the trillions in tax-payer cash that Fashola and his cronies funnel into private accounts every day? |
Re: Fantastical Corruption: Redeemed Church Should Handle All Road Contracts by Monogamy: 10:58pm On Mar 14, 2021 |
RuudVanNisteroy: Do you really understand how Usa as a country take money laundering case seriously? Where is Hushpuppy? Where is Invincus? So many of Trump's associates are behind bar for money laundering Stop being fixated about Tinubu... Not claiming he is holy but opening almost daily thread about him is just a waste of precious time, energy, iinfact just an exercise in futility. There are better issues affecting Nigerians which you can create thread about... And if your niche is about corruption, we have other thousands of corrupt politicians in Nigeria.. Wondering when you would start creating threads about Ibori's laundering case Obsession no dey tear money oo 1 Like 1 Share |

Cynocefaal:Government has abdicated it's responsibilities in the provision of basic social amenties such as education, road construction, security, electricity, portable water and that has created a vacuum for private individual and the church to step in. As long as PDP,APC and APGA rule the nation, Nigeria will never witness any progress. RCCG took the bull by the horn and listened to the cries of the inhabitants of Ifewara who were witnessing hardships and death on the abandoned 8.2KM road. And they stepped in and completed the project in three years that was previously abandoned for six years and completed it at N22.9 million per KM for a total of N188 million. |

Monogamy:There is something called plea bargain. The Chicago drug baron likely ratted on the soldiers on Adegboyega Mueez Akande and Abiodun Agbele . Many mafia members that deal in heroin like the Bullion Van godfather get plea bargain deals and walk free for testifying against their foot soldiers. |

With the legacy set by Fashola in terms of highly inflated contracts for road constructions in the country, if the trend continues, in a few years time, the national budget won't be enough to construct just two roads in the country! I don't know his ministry's allocation for the year running, but something tells me that at almost 1 trillion naira, the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria Road will take all his ministry's budgeted funds! This is why Fashola needs to be tried and shot! People like him were the reason why Fidel Castro, Jerry Rawlings and the Russian revolutionaries eliminated every living members of the old regime! We can't have good roads in this country not because there are no funds. The reason is that all contracts are devilishly inflated beyond imaginations! Fashola is responsible for entrenching this practice in a very dangerous way.. |
