The President and the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) say the extension of Mr Adamu’s tenure is backed by the Constitution and the new Police Act, 2020. President Muhammadu Buhari and the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, have declared support for the argument that the law permits the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, to remain in office till 2023 or 2024. This regime is just turning everything upside down. This act will be unfair to both his predecessors that surrendered according to the law and those that are to succeed him that you would have killed their opportunity to rise to the peak point of their career. This act by the presidency is a morale killer. Is Buhari still the president? 4 Likes |

Let imagine he was hands on and going about arresting bandit on his own maybe we can justify keeping him in office for a day extra but look at the sorry State of our security sometimes we cannot rationalize the way our leaders are not bothered about situation of things. Now You can have powerbank to extend you working hours on your laptop, i have some for sale, get in touch. Police need to recruit more locals into the force too |

The next president will be worse than Buhari. Buhari has shown a lot of bad examples for his successor to exploit.. Nigerians welcome to the era where the president is above the rule of law. It gets worse from now 20 Likes |

post=99950459: Anything to move the country forward? even if it takes breaking the law? What precedent is buhari of a person even setting? A man that has well passed his service years. If u have a good conscience void of mischief, you'll agree that Buhari is totally wrong on this one. This is not a position based on appointment, he is a public servant bound by constitution, and buhari or Adamu is not above the law. 16 Likes |
