am not a soldier and I wasn't born into a military family, but I can tell you that there are 51 army barracks in Nigeria. the smallest is made up of just a battalion which consist of about one thousand soldiers, some are brigades which consist of about 3 to five battalions, while others are divisions which controls about 5 brigades. now judging from this I could tell that the Nigerian army has a personnel of not less than a 150 thousand soldiers. it should also be noted that the Nigerian army has lost significant number of it soldiers due to casualties from Boko haram and bandits, but that doesn't mean you should think their number is not up to 2000. Kaduna is a military city of which one out of every five men you see there is a military man.
