BePrepared:I am afraid you confuse Christ's church with men's church. They are two different entities. For one God lives inside of His people and only He knows those who are of His church. Man's church however is the established entity you see and interact with within this world. As for your claim that Jesus Christ has given some church authority as his body... care to provide some reference as to where Jesus Christ supposedly did or said this? |

BePrepared:There is nothing foolish about the notion that the book could be fiction. I believe it is not because I can relate in every way with Job and fail to see how it could all have been conjured up in the imagination of men, and not based to some extent on a true story. |

Kobojunkie: James 5:11 KJV Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. So James was scamming us by advising with a fictional character. May sense fell on him This I pray. No part of the word of God is fictional. |

BePrepared:Well, the stories were told to them in the Jewish community, but that does not mean it was proven non-fictional simply by its telling. James never in fact states that he met the man called Job in his statement there. |

BePrepared:You don't offend me. We are already discussing the topic here so I don't understand what you mean at all. Not too long ago, I read the book of Jasher and came away wondering if a character mentioning the story who got the description given of Job in your Bible could indeed be the same man. But you see, there are many problems with assuming that the same man from Mesopotamia, called Job, who worked under the Pharaoh during the time that Joseph , son of Jacob, was also in Egypt, is the same man called Job in the Bible story. |

Kobojunkie: I'd advise you to stop reading extra biblical books, so as not to confuse yourself or ourselves. |

BePrepared:Did God tell you to read only the books in the Bible oris it fear that has caused you to adopt that reasoning you have their of that you consider "extrabiblical"? In GENESIS you are told that the Tree of knowledge of Good and Evil belongs to God, so why does what you consider "extrabiblical" scare you? |
Re: New Dead Sea Scrolls In Israel Reveals Fragments Of Biblical Prophets (Pics) by BePrepared: 7:34pm On Mar 23, 2021 |
Kobojunkie: It doesn't scare me You have to reach a certain level b4 reading some stuff, which I fear you haven't reach, but I perceive you are wise in your sight so u may continue if you wish |

BePrepared:Interesting! So what "level" do you have to reach before exploring knowledge without needless restrictions placed on your mind by who knows who? And by whose standards were these levels you speak of erected? |

People should know that the Dead sea scrolls, for the books that are there are mostly later recordings than the source of what we have now and by a sectarian book. Or in other words, they are less reliable than our Bible |
