See, time and time again the Middle Belt have proven to be North and part of the North culturally, socially, economically and politically.

Forget about the noise they( Middle beltans) and some people albeit many people( non Middle beltans) make here that they are not part of the North. They are only being fearful of the South leaving them to the vampires of the core North if Nigeria disintegrate, that's why you hear that noise 'We are not North' but thier action speaks otherwise.
