I wish I can like this comment over and over again. People think it's the big building that makes a good healthcare. A mud hospital that has facilities inside will more likely attract good doctors and deliver quality healthcare than an empty skyscraper. So don't just look at this gigantic hotel-looking big building and think that it'd automatically translate to quality healthcare. That's one of the reasons most doctors in Nigeria are porting outside the country. Asides poor remuneration, lack of facilities that meets their skills are factors that make them emigrate.

The beauty of the building does not matter, what matters is the state of the art equipment it will have and the maintenance of those equipment.

u dun talk am finish.....even with bad roads, kidnapping and all of that, pay fresh grad naija doctor just 500k , give them better tools to work with and see if lots of them wont sacrifice n stay back in nigeria to help

Ebonyi state that has no functional state state owned hospital for that matter.

I remember when Akpabio made such remarks nearly 7 years ago and now the Hospital in Uyo. is not fully functional till date.

Aswear this building looks like a maximum prison, Evercare hospital should be used as a blue print to building modern day hospitals in Nigeria! He should get modern and stop wasting tax payer's money on crap!
