if you have the money and sure connection, run away from Nigeria, you will be happy you did. Your children will call you hero. Nothing will get better in Nigeria, at least not till we scatter this nonsense and start all over. |

funny comments. I can't advise, but I'll suggest you first ascertain that you're dealing with a genuine travel Agent. Start plenty of research about your intended destination. Thanks to the internet, you can seek out platforms where you can read from the locals themselves and have a strong feel for what the current realities are in their country. Remember that Covid has rewritten the narrative in many countries. Bearing in mind that it'll take some time to put your travel documents in place, you can do well to attach yourself to a practising and successful goat farmer so that you can learn the easy and the cheap way. If your prospect overseas are looking good, you move with a good knowledge of what to expect, if not you can start your business riding on the knowledge you've gained and the fact that you have a mentor whom you can always run to when the chips are down. At least, that's what I'll do. |

Cregiank:Travel to Poland to do what? Make money? School there? How do you finance it? You are limited with language. You need at least 3 years to learn any foreign language to speak it at a level employers will look your way. The best way is to go to language schools or go to university and study in their language department while doing your course, or you do language preparatory course. And you may still not cope if you are not good with handling languages. Many who speak foreign languages speak rubbish which cannot get them good jobs. This is the reality. You know how illiterates speak even bad broken English here....that's the way many africans speak EU languages except those who go to school to study them. And its money in many place to study languages, plus you need to put in effort. I mean you cannot even cope with hustling and learning language at the same time.......except you are gifted. Therefore, I presume you are going there to hustle. So, think twice. If you know you can endure the Hardship there and you can endure cold, it's your call. On the other hand, do you.know about goat farming? You can put in your money there and lose all. And you.can make it. If you are ready to stay on the farm 24/7 and take care of the goats, you can do it. If you.ask me, I will say look into your business plan very well. If you see the possibility of having numerous goats in some months....look into having all your goats sold and see how much you.can make. If the money is worth is, put aside a sum you can fall back to. Use part to hustle outside Naija. If things go wrong, return to your goat farming. Create a way to move in and out of Naija and continue your goat farming. You will get to a stage you.will be able to relocate finally later. If you find a job in Poland, do it. If it is not that ok...return home and go again there or to another place. You cannot just stay in the bush rearing goats all your life. If you can learn it....go for it. You know that the skill is wirh you for life. And you decide what to do with it. To stay here and multiply ifnpossoble and if you can. Or to use the profit to travel out. But then, if it crashes, that's another area you need to look into. In summary, you cannot get any advice on Nairaland. Look at your business plan well. It is only you who can decide for yourself. And the main factor which determines what to do is: which option gives you more initial profit? The one which puts .ore money into your pocket is what you should do. Then, you can achieve more later. Goodluck! |
