Sir Allwell Ihunda Kick-off His Port Harcourt LGA Election Campaign In Ward 1 And 9. - Gets Massive support from incumbent Mayor, Hon Victor Ihunwo Nyeche, JP. Dez Mayorz report. The People's Democratic Party candidate, Hon. Sir Allwell Ihunda and his deputy, Tamunotonye Douglas kick-off their Local Government Area election campaign, ahead of the April 17, 2021 LGA election that happens every three years in Rivers State, to elect chairmen and ward councillorship into the 23 and 319 LGA council and ward councillorship seats respectively. The People's Democratic Party, PDP, campaign team in PHALGA, led by Sir, Soni Ejekwu, the Honourable commissioner for Chieftaincy, Rivers State all came out in mass, together with the Chairman of the People's Democratic Party in PHALGA, Hon. Solomon Ogbonna and other party leaders, stakeholders and faithfuls. The campaign team visited the good people of PHALGA Ward one (EGWUMA-ABALI & OROMERE-EZIMGBU) and Ward 9 to sensitize and solicit for their votes in the forth coming April 17th local Government elections. In his speech, Sir Allwell Ihunda stated that his Government will strongly be committed towards improving the livelihood of men, women, youths and non-Indigenes of Port Harcourt City LGA through his people oriented programs like entrepreneurial development, job opportunities and empowerment programmes, Etc. Sir Allwell Ihunda further promised to work harmoniously with his Councillors to positively impact the lives of everyone who supported him by voting for him and his team. He added that people will marvel at the positive results his partnership with the incumbent Mayor will yield in the future. Addressing the campaign ground, the Mayor of Port Harcourt City, Hon Victor Ihunwo Nyeche JP, said that from day one when Sir Allwell Ihunda emerged as the PDP Candidate for the LGA poll in Port Harcourt City, that he assured him of his total support while thanking God and the people of Port Harcourt City for the opportunity given to him to serve. Mayor Victor Ihunwo said that the PDP is a big family and that any other person or party vying for the position against the party is wasting his/her time. Hon Victor Ihunwo concluded by calling on the people of ward 9 to give their bloc vote to the Chairmanship candidate, Sir Allwell Ihunda; and the Councillorship candidate. In return, the Chairmanship Candidate of the party for the LGA poll, Sir Allwell Ihunda, commended the incumbent Mayor for his tremendous support while assuring that his partnership with him will produce enviable positive results. Goodwill messages were also given by the Chairman of the Party in the LGA, Engr. Solomon Ogbonna; Chairman of the Campaign Council, Sir Sonny Ejekwu; Rector Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic, Dr Sam Kalagor; and former member Rivers State House of Assembly (Port Harcourt State Constituency I) Honourable Jones Nwene Ogbonda. The campaign got to his climax with the handing over of the Chairmanship candidate of the PDP, Sir Alwell Ihunda to Mayor Victor Ihunwo; and the handing over of the Deputy Chairmanship candidate Tamunotoye Douglas to the incumbent Deputy, Honourable Mrs Marian Fiberesima, by the PDP Chairman in the LGA, Engr.
