The duo of Ilupokiki and Aganran ruling families of Iju-Ogundimu in Ifako-Ijaiye area of Lagos state, have on Wednesday, teamed up to plead with the Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu to expedite action on filling the vacancy stool of Oniju of Iju-Ogundimu.

Addressing newsmen during a press conference at the Ilupokiki family secretariat on Wednesday, the heads of family of Ilupokiki and Aganran, Alhaji R.A Asalu and Chief Rasheed Ayinde Dada respectively, said that the next ruling family, which is Ilupokiki ruling house, has according to the notice of vacancy made public by Ifako-Ijaiye local government on the 12th of September, 2018 to present a successor to the stool which late Oba Elijah Ebelamu Olanire left vacant since his demise and do so within..
