Nigeria is a conglomerate of the northerners, by the northerners and for the northerners. And as long as the north continue to hold sway in the political sphere, seccessionist agendas shall continue hitting a brick wall.

So long as the northerners hold sway EVERYTHING will hit a brick wall, besides Boko Haram and other Islamic terrorists, those ones will thrive.

And uptil now it is very painful that some persons are still blaming Lugard for the woes.

Is it Lugard that is preventing Nigeria from achieving 0% absolute poverty, constant 24 hours electricity in every nook and cranny in this 21st century and 95% potable clean water coverage?

Abegi make una go sidon one corner in shame.

Be like u no read history.
Go and read how the yorubas were fast growing in development before the unholy marriage called Nigeria. Did u know that in all Yoruba lands, education was free even to university levels? After power was given to one man by Lugard, free education stopped in yoruba land?
Yoruba and Igbos would have been among world power by now if not for the backwardness of the North dragging everyone to the Stone age.
You better pack well before "E choke" you.

Yes Aketi but How will the concession begin when you and your groups are so greedy about power by licking the a s s of Nigerian unity troubler(The North)?

We must fight to agree if possible since the North don't give a shit about South then lets fight and settle if possible and if not let everyone bear his fathers name.

Enough is Enough of North heavy handedness in Nigeria affairs.

A few people cannot just stand up one day and say to us: ‘Yes, we want Yoruba nation.’ How? Where did we sit down to discuss this? With who and who? At what point in time? So, if you do not carry everybody along, you cannot be representing us.”

Did Lugard & his Mistress consented with any Indigenous People in Nigeria before the country was named & formed.
Was the opinion of the Yorubas, Ijaws,Igbos, Hausa, Efik, Kanuris etc consented before the geographical expression called Nigeria was created?
Mr. Governor go & sit down

Consensus can only be determined by referendum. They know consensus would be easily achieved by referendum. It is not possible for 50million Yorubas to sit down in a meeting. Political representatives are representing their pockets. Senator Tolu Odebiyi representing Yewa and Amosun representing Egba Central went into hiding while Yewa people were being raped, killed and pushed into exile. Such people with their political counterparts cannot represent the people for referendum.

Akeredolu, Senator Tofowomo representing Ondo South at the Senate said himself and other Ondo Representatives at National Assembly are against AMOTEKUN. He told you openly. Akeredolu, you are talking about consensus. Tofowomo said AMOTEKUN was not established by consensus. But, all of us know over 90% of Ondo people supported AMOTEKUN. Political consensus is Abuja or Buhari consensus. It is not people's consensus. We stand on Oduduwa Republic. House of Assembly Bill that established AMOTEKUN was for formality sake and an afterthought, the people WILL supported AMOTEKUN before BILL passage at House of Assembly. The same way, the people WILL also support the ODUDUWA Nation.

I know you are the Chairman of South West Governors Forum and the blame for the agitation has been on you because of the quit notice given to FULANI herdsmen to leave our Forest Reserve, but courage and determination are needed at this particular time.

Wrong. For, of and by the Northern elites. The Northern masses are even far worse off than the Southern masses. Re-negotiating Nigeria is in the interest of 99% of Nigerians. Only the top 1% looting us dry don't want it.

Stop deceiving yourself. People are just scared of the brute force that Fulani/Buhari will use on them. Let a referendum be conducted and you will be surprised at the massive turn out. Just let the Fulani government make the mistake to agree and you will be surprised. Nigeria is not a country. Do you consider yourself a citizen? Be deceiving yourself.

They did not fight for a unitary Nigeria. They fought for a regional confederate. That is the only way your shithole will work. Try anything you like, the present template will never work. Its only a daft, imbecillic and moronic person that will expect a different result while doing the same thing.

Dont mind the fool.

Yet a few sick English terrorists, a drunkard and his wife came and created a fake country called Nigeria.

And the demented governor cannot ask that why did "a few people" from Britain just stand up one day to say this is a country called Nigeria? What a fool!

Re: Secession Must Be By Consensus - Governor Akeredolu by onuman: 7:01pm On Mar 25, 2021
The consensus can only come through a referendum in the areas asking for secession, not by wishes of political leaders who are eating fat from dysfunctional Nigeria.

So who organizes the referendum and when?

Referendum is the first ingredient of democracy.

Southern politicians must not continue to allow the north to preclude referendum in Nigeria because northern military dictators who supervised the 1999 constitution precluded referendum in the constitution.

North eats fat from one Nigeria which is a stumbling block to human and economic development in the southern regions of Nigeria.

Abeg tell these uneducated idiots, Akeredolu SAN is far more brilliant than many of the Governors we have

Lord Fredrick Lugard Almagamated British Protectorate of Nigeria (Nigeria and Northern Cameroon). He also Almagamated what is called Hong Kong after duly consulting king's , rulers , district head and submitting his report to British House of lords

You can't just force a nation on anyone, let them go through the House of Assembly and get referendum clause added to the constitution

.
But Nigeria is forced on me sad

How do you propose that government should address the issue?
you see this country we give respect and almost all attention to those who studied and graduated out of University without having plans for them in the labor market,we have totally ignored the technical side,it would be wise and more productive if govt could invest in technical aspects by providing or creating numerous and different vocational centers which would be runned like a tertiary institution, this will help a lot in tackling unemployment and even create more income for the govt
There would be a place for beginners, after graduation, employed under the same govt controlled industries. this will go a long way in reducing unemployment and also help the country GDP grows futher, there are so many ideas to follow but I just know our govt care less
