Orji Uzor Kalu Arrested in Aba

There are reports indicating that the Senator representing Abia North, Orji Uzor Kalu, has been arrested by security agents in Aba.

Sources said the arrest was said to be in connection with an alleged kidnap of a PDP Local Government agent at the Aba North/Aba South Federal Constituency bye-election, by thugs imported from neighbouring states by the Senator.

It was earlier revealed that OUK imported thugs in 18 seater buses numbering 16 and were lodged at Enitona Hotel in Aba .

Recall that OUK had threatened to unleash violence on Aba ahead of the rerun election in which his younger brother is contesting on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a strategy of compromising the process and rig the election
