NIN is doing a lot of lobbying to increase their relevance, and not fizzle out like National ID Card. There is no reason for mandating the use of NIN for JAMB, "security reasons" my foot. NIN usefulness to JAMB means they don't need to capture biometrics and can just use NIN biometrics in file. If they are still collecting biometric data for the registration of JAMB then using NIN can never be justified. |
