*THE INDEFATIGABLE CHAIRMAN OF DUNUKOFIA LGA, HON. EMEKA CHINWEZE, DISTRIBUTES EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, COVID-19 P.P.E AND AWARDS TO PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN DUNUKOFIA LGA.*
Education is the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the world, on that premises, the capacity Mayor of Dunukofia LGA visits 22 primary schools, in Dunukofia.

Hon Chinweze distributed thousands of educational materials, face masks, hand sanitizers, buckets and waste bins, to all the primary schools in Dunukofia. It is important to note that, the educational loving Mayor of Dunukofia decided to distribute those materials, because of his philanthropic gesture that has been going on, before his inception as the Mayor of Dunukofia.

On his keynote address to the pupils, he encouraged them to be of good behavior and shun any activities that is against the law. He lectured the pupils on the importance of using the Covid-19 P.P.E provided for all the schools, in order to avoid further spread of Covid-19.

Hon Chinweze is a man with a proven track record for his love for education. For the past months that he became the Mayor, he has built a stellar reputation as an administrator and leader, who keeps his eyes on the prize, ensures continuous improvement of educational sectors in his local government and delivers excellent results. His track records for award of scholarship to indigent students has earned him global awards and several other accolades.

In the climax of the events, the philanthropist cum educational loving Mayor gave awards to all the best pupils in each class, in the whole of 22 primary schools, in order to motivate and encourage other pupils to bukle up, in their academic performance.

In his remarks, he thanks all the headmistresses, teachers and pupils present, and plead to them, to be law abiding citizens and always wear their face masks, in order to prevent the further spread of Covid-19.

Hon Chinweze emphasized that irrespective of race, religion and gender, education makes it possible for people to stand out as equal with all the other persons from different walls of life.

Hon Chinweze closes his speech by informing everyone that, education is the passport to the future, for tommorow belongs to those who prepares for it today. He promised to make the philanthropic gesture a quarterly event in the local government area.

In appreciation, the pupils sang different songs, in praises for him and in conclusion, Mrs Florence Okafor, the headmistress of Obiama Primary School, Ukpo, on behalf of the teachers, pupils, gave thanks to the generosity and vision of Hon Chinweze in creating a foundation on the pupils that will last a lifetime and impact generations to come.
