But they later turned around and detained me , claiming that what I had just done was a criminal offence. It cost me 4hrs of jail time, my girlfriend's tears and ten grand to regain my freedom. I conclude that four hours is much shorter in Alakahia than in the rest of the known World! Not just that, but to have actually gone back to a place where you were an unwilling participant in a near deat experience, puts you in the league of characters like the Incredible Hulk. What a guy!

I really do not see myself ever voting again, I feel bad saying this. All I really wanted was to see if my vote counted(I voted opposition) well I guess I have tasted first hand the election realities in Nigeria, the only thing free and fair was the rigging. I don't know why the electorates didn't stay back to see their votes counted thouh I myself didn't initially stay back but went back as an after thought. And I can say the experience was worth it as I am no more disillusional about free and fair election
