Corruption in Nigeria has been a recurring event, which either declines or increases under several administrations in Nigeria.
Recently, Nigeria ranks as the second most corrupt country in West Africa and 149th most corrupt country in the world.

In 2015, President Buhari came with anti-corruption laws, accountability, and transparency, yet corruption lingers in Nigeria.
