So police pinpoints a drug dealer who supplies the city drugs. They trail him once he leaves to make a drug delivery and after he delivers the drug then police swoops in and arrest those patronising him.... The trail continues as they gathered so many people buying from them take all their money and sometimes property............. Now that's a description of how police who are after money works. They know the list of buyers will be endless so they keep arresting buyers to make money from them.

In a serious country.... You go for the kingpin who is the supplier then cut him off not trailing who he supplies.

You claim to be fighting financial crimes yet you leave the kingpin politicians who are robbing the masses in broad day light to focus on petty thieves.

Here is why I call them petty thieves. A politician can steal 2bn at a go while the total net worth of 200 of those boys may not even get up to half of that figure. Good luck with imaginary corruption fight.

A country like Nigeria, permit me to say it warrant up surge of crimes as we have seen many in decades.
A third world country where basic amenities are deprived of the citizen, where electricity is a rocket science, where infrastructure, hospitality, education, security and many others are in shambles. What do you expect? Joblessness and poverty is on rampage. Then don't � expect ☮️ peace or clamness in such places �
This incumbent administration and it's previous are all colossal failures, rogues and first class yahoo citizens. I'm not in support of whatever those youths are doing, either if our leaders had layed down a sound foot � print, this country would not be where it is today.
However, going after the local Yahoo boys is not the problems we are currently facing in this nation as a whole, we all know the first class yahoo citizens in this country. And so the problem of Nigeria is right there in Nigeria and her solutions is right there in Nigeria, if you know you know.

So sad. To curb this menace of internet fraud, I think the death penalty or life imprisonment should be introduced against the culprits. However, thorough investigation must be carried out before such judgement takes place. The same should be introduced for politicians. Detailed analysis of money spent must be reported and if any fraudulent activity is discovered, the should face the same.
Imagine replacing a governor who has just be sentenced to death for fraud. The incoming replacement would be on his toes continually

Least of Nigeria problem. Go to US or UK and tell them cyber crime is the least of their problem. The sentence in Nigeria is even fair. In UK they normally sentence fraudsters to 30years and more imprisonment

I expected Buhari to facilitate corruption trials by establishing corruption-trying tribunals and working with the necessary judicial councils to assign incorruptible justices for them.

Even before Buhari came aboard in 2015, people in the know had been advising Jonathan to take that step. To date, Buhari hasn't implemented key legislative reforms to strengthen the fight on corruption.

What we see is the same old nonsense Obasanjo and others did - using the weak institutions to fight perceived political enemies.

Leadership is no rocket science - Nigerians just keep electing clueless people for reasons best known to them.
