The name Reno Omokri needs no introduction in the Nigerian political hemisphere. He is a self acclaimed-pastor who rose into prominence during the former President Goodluck Jonathan-led administration he served. He was than a Special Assistant to the President on New Media. Since the government he served was disgraced at the polls and lost out in the 2015 elections owing to abysmal poor performance in government all through his uninspiring five years of holding on to power, the errand boy of the government on social media, Reno, has become an atrocious and a controversial personality on the social media space.

Reno, who has been severely identified as a paid social media troll, has, over time been synonymous with the spread of Fake News! Against President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, most especially. In essence, he is not representing Nigerians on the social media space as he claimed.

Recalled the 2014 uprising that followed the poor performance of the Goodluck Jonathan-led government Reno served that culminated in Nigerians voting him out of power, making Jonathan the first president in Nigeria's history to be voted out of government in a popular vote not minding the fact that he, from the seat of power conducted that historical election. Reno has not recovered from that shock till date! Free money in government has stopped! And as we know also, Jonathan's administration is still adjudged the worst in Nigeria's history till date, with multiple of corruption cases that characterised his government which Reno and his paymasters are trying to cover up!

Reno's paying-job after office is not known till date except being a troll! Yet he junkets across continents painting the name of Nigeria and the President Muhammadu Buhari/Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in black.

FIRST LADY AISHA BUHARI

Recently in one of his tweets on his verified Twitter handle, and across his social media platforms, Reno claimed Vice President Osinbajo only praised the First Lady (at her book launch) for been on Facebook and Instagram. Fiction!!!! That was a big lie from Pastor Reno Omokri.

A view at the copy of the Vice President's speech exposed this lie in its entirety. While the Vice President emphasized the First Lady's presence on social media, that according to him, was only the means in which he sees the First Lady reaching out to majority of Nigerians. The Vice President also extolled the wife of the President of her courage of speaking up for Nigerians when the need arises. He didn't stop there, he went ahead to describe the First Lady as a "worthy partner" to the Buhari administration, as attested to by President Buhari. He only quoted the President and agreed with him on what he said about his wife. Fact!!!

KIDNAPPED OF RCCG MEMBERS

In another post on the last days of March 2021, Pastor Reno Omokri accused VP Osinbajo of not speaking up on the abduction of RCCG members abducted by a gang of kidnappers in Kaduna State. According to him Vice President Osinbajo would rather praise the national leader of the APC Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his birthday. Lies!!!! Another misleading Fiction!!! He must surely be misrepresenting the Christian faith! A genuine pastor does not lies like Reno does pathologically!

Osinbajo remains the Vice President of Nigeria and not of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), though a pastor in the commission. He has ever condemned kidnapping in Nigeria. And if there's any need for the VIce President to speak against any social vices, he, by the virtue of his office does it on behalf of every Nigerian. More over, Osinbajo as part of this administration, has been securing the release of kidnap victims not only Redeemed members. Yet, on the kidnapped RCCG member, VP Osinbajo has been on top of the matter, even as a concerned father who cares for the wellbeing of Nigerian children, adults and everyone. The VP is a problem solver, this he has done repeatedly.

Reno should rather crawl back to his shell, seek for forgiveness on how he and his boss handled the Chibok Girls kidnap of 2014 (which paved the way for the wave of kidnap we find ourselves in Nigeria today) and the killings of those innocent boys of Buni Yadi who were murdered in cold blood by members the Boko Haram terrorist group. Fact!!! We can and will never forget.

LEAH SHARIBU

This shouldn't be new to political watchers in Nigeria. Pastor Reno Omokri, has for months, been using the plight of young Leah Sharibu, who has been a captive of the Boko Haram sect for his own personal financial gains. In 2018, Pastor Reno Omokri, a self acclaimed "best seller" author wrote a book about the young, who had, by the virtue of her conviction became a prisoner of her conscience. According to Reno, the proceeds from the sales of this book would be donated the family of Leah. He he donated the money?Fiction!!! Lies!!!

This happens to be a lie from the pit of hell. Ever since the book gained prominence, Reno Omokri has never for once come out clean on how the proceeds from the sales have been paid to Leah's Family. Sometimes in 2018, a financial analyst, Henry Claudius, and several other Nigerians have accused Reno Omokri of Syphoning the fund.

THE SAID LEAH SHARIBU BOOK WORTHLESS ON AMAZON — FINANCIAL ANALYST, HENRY CLAUDIUS

In a tweet, Henry Claudius wrote: "Omokiri's claim that he wrote a best seller is false. The book is worthless on Amazon. However, the book he wrote on Sharibu is selling for $16.This is how the scam works. He will visit churches worldwide, introduced himself as a pastor and complain of Christians' persecution in Nigeria.

HOW RENO SCAMS UNSUSPECTING CHRISTIANS WORLDWIDE

"Unsuspecting congregation believed his words that Christians were being persecuted. He will talk about Sharibu that she's currently being held and President Muhammadu Buhari is not doing anything about it. They started buying the books to learn more, people started donating to his charity.

"Then he will introduce his other books. The bottom line is that Leah is used as a marketing strategy to deceive unsuspecting Christians worldwide that they are donating money to free persecuted Christians in Nigeria."

However, there had never been any substantial claim from Pastor Reno Omokri to counter this claim. He, rather, resorted to blocking people who are opposed to his views on his social media pages. Reno should show proof of payments to Leah's Family. At least for he should be transparent for once. Fact!!!

To be candid, Reno Omokri is one of the most shameless political propangadist we have around today. As far as he is concerned, Nigeria stopped working since 2015 that his Boss lost a re-election. He calls himself a pastor but his church is unknown. He calls himself a best selling author, but his order on Amazon is quite few! He is a man with no honour.
