I don't understand why they are giving them an option of paying fines in place of their jail sentence. undecided undecided
Nigeria doesn't take the fight on internet fraud seriously. It's as if government is just using these guys to raise the funds they use to finance their bogus recurrent budget.

Truth our youths have gotten it all wrong but you can't not ignore the fact that corrupt politicians contribute to all this. Almost every Nigerian politician is corrupt, they have indirectly stolen the future of generations to come through looting.

I weep whenever I see Nigerian youths of today. Are these the supposed leaders of tomorrow?
Very few of them is ready to climb the ladder of success through hard-work.

By the way, OP, do well to work on your tenses. You can do better than this.

To stop all this yahoo yahoo syndicate which has been engaging our court judges on this that is avoidable.

I will suggest that Nigeria should adopt North Korea ideology on all yahoo yahoo caught in the act by capital punishment, this will curbed their involvement in Yahoo Yahoo.

Why is the fine so small?
I understand that they have to forfeit the amount that the law enforcement agency detected but they would have more than this.

Because they knew nothing will happen. You can see theJudge gave them an option of fine How will the international community take us serious? It is so sad that Nigeria has lost it's credibility. The only grace we have are few companies and sports people portraying Nigeria in good light. The law itself is so corrupt. Nigeria is now listed as a country of concern. It is so sad

Ogbeni park well . Some of these boys are graduates and talented. Where's the job and opportunity?
Quota system and Nepotism has taken over.
How many poor kids are working in NNPC?
The poor masses endure our harsh schooling environment and yet jobs are taken by the ones who schooled outside with tax payers money .
Live and let live .
