oloyedewaris: Why feed people for Ramadan with state funds? Is that what the federal allocation is for? I thought doing this kind if feeding should be a personal thing and not a state thing? How many did he feed during lent or during Ogun festival? Some of you are just blinded by religion government does not have business feeding people for Ramadan paying for tickets to mecca or Jerusalem etc, it is waste of public fund.... 7 Likes |

oloyedewaris:pls shut up already.. It's better to provide 5000 jobs than to be feeding 75000 people daily.. What happens after Ramadan.. This backward and fanatic mentality has been dragging Islam and northern Nigeria backwards.. Imagine sponsoring pilgrims to mecca and Jerusalem.. Is that not madness.. Does that mean the poor, that can't afford flight ticket to the holy land will miss heaven? We need to ban any form of govt participation in religious matters 1 Like |

Another avenue created to loot state fund. That's more reason why we MUST restructure, so you can manage whatever you generates from your state, these THIEVES keeps getting free OIL MONEY from the south and keep mismanaging it. SENSELESS PEOPLE |

What kind of country is this for God sake a state that complained recently of lack of funds to pay civil servants is busy engaging in unproductive ventures what a pity we still have people like this governor in the circle of leadership I honestly hope and pray for thorough restructure of this country very soon and if that is not possible lord separate us fast by fire. |

ahiboilandgas:I don't have any hatred for the north, am from the north central and I've always been against the government financing religious activities whether Christian or Muslim. Government sponsoring pilgrimage for both Christian or Muslim in a country where poverty strives is misplacement of priority. That's my take. |

Moferere: Doesn't make sense. Is it the duty of the state government to be feeding people again, even during a religious fasting, by using money meant for the betterment of the state. Creating more job opportunities and providing the people with the needed skills to stand and thrive is far better than the feeding of them. Ramadan has come and will go and the people will go back their almajiri way of life. Why not empower them to be useful to themselves, even if they can't be useful to the society! This is a misplaced priority! 1 Like |

oloyedewaris: You are not thinking straight. When you see the truth, always kiss it. If Wike wakes up today and feed some people in his state in the name of religion using taxpayers money/state funds, he will be criticized. Always think first because you comment! Or don't comment if you reasoning faculty refuse to think. Just read and walk away. By so doing, even if your sense is still in the kindagarten stage, it will be seen as a matured sense. |

DamnnNiggarr: Who exactly did we offend in this country? Ehn! Can we just have a day of good news? Imagine govt feeding 75000 people for fasting? Is that the govt responsibility now? Is that infrastructures, is that business loans for them? Is that scholarships and vocational training? Is that job creation? Let this country just break and let us go our separate ways. |

You know that to create a job is more difficult than giving out food, why talking as if it's an easy task What of your eastern governor that give out gift during Easter Remember that it's the same people that pay the tax that's enjoying it |
