ANAMBRA 2021: WHY RT. HON CHUKWUMA UMEOJI SHOULD SUCCEED GOVERNOR WILLIE OBIANO.

The increasing need for expertise and technocrats for effective governance, while at the same time remaining committed to the representative of the citizens who voted for him puts Rt. Hon Chukwuma Umeoji - MHR, KSJI, ahead of every other APGA aspirants for the November 6th Anambra Guber Election.

Hon Chukwuma Umeoji (OBA) who has demonstrated purposeful and people oriented leadership in all the previous positions he served is the only APGA Gubernatorial hopeful with both Executive and Legislative experience, he possess an intimidating political credentials unmatched by all the other aspirants across political divides in Anambra State.

The general acceptance of Hon. Umeoji is proof to his prudence and accountability in public office, and selfless service to the common man, irrespective of party or religious inclinations. He has a strong will to deliver projects that would stand the test of time in his primary Constituency of Aguata both as Local Government Chairman and House of Representative Member, hence the name, #OnyeProject.

• Hon Umeoji won his first elective position in 2007 and was elected into the House of Repretatives, Aguata Federal Constituency where he recorded unprecedented achievements.

• He was the former Executive Chairman (ELECTED) of Aguata Local Government Area and then Chairman of ALGON, Anambra State. It's pertinent to note that the ALGON Chairman is like a Mini-Governor and Umeoji served meritoriously in this office.

• Hon. Umeoji also served as member of the Board of Anambra State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (ASPHCDA).

• Hon. Umeoji was also a former member of the Anambra State Joint Account Committee (JAAC).

• He was a member of the Anambra State Vigilante Supervisory Committee (ASVSC).

• Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji served as the Senior Aide to Governor Willie Obiano on Grassroot Mobilization.

• Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji is currently Representing Aguata Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber with an excellent scorecard in the delivery of democratic dividends to his Constituency.

It's on record that Hon. Umeoji has the most Capital Projects among other aspirants. Through his infrastuctural, educational, and agricultural revolution, he attracted lots of projects to his constituency which includes but not limited to; road projects, building and equiping new classroom blocks, facilitation of CBN loans for hundreds of Youths, facilitation of commensurate empowerment trainings with startups for youths, facilitation of empowerment training with startups for farmers, personal empowerment of farmers across the 14 communities in his constituency, initiated and completed electrification projects in communities lacking electricity, built open market shops in all the communities in Aguata L.G.A, initiated and completed over 50 culverts projects in all the Aguata communities, has ongoing projects in 11 out of the 14 Communities that makes up his constituency amongst other projects.

Anambra, the State that prides itself as the Light of the Nation is too big to be used for apprenticeship hence the need and clamour for Rt. Hon Chukwuma Umoji who has gained enough political pedigree, administrtive experience and qualitative exposure since his rise from Local to Federal Leadership, to fly the all important APGA ticket in the upcoming Gubernatorial Election.

Technocracy which can be found in Political Thought as early as Plato’s ‘Philosopher King’ is a valid pointer why Umeoji is needed by Ndi Anambra to succeed HE, Chief Sir Willie Obiano, Akpokuedike Aguleri to Continue and Consolidate on the development trajectory of Anambra State and as well make the state a destination of serious interest for international investors with an eye on Africa.
