If compiler knows we're missing a ";" , why does it display an error message instead of adding the missing ";" ? |

whs1: AST it was built to compile and translate to another source, modification sounds easy but I assume there's alot of code and you don't always want to assume, however some IDE have gotten so good that they have the ability to help with that, better at source code level than during compilation. |

whs1:It is not so intelligent to do so. That may not be our intention. JS compiler does this though. Python don’t need it. But for those that did it they feel you should corrrect it yourself or avoid hidden bugs down the road the will lead to too much stress |

If you know what's the function of ";" you wouldn't be asking this question. |
