I've been working remotely for a year now and the experience so far has been a mixed one. No doubt, it's more convenient working from home; navigating between work desk and your bed, not having to wake up early and dress for work, etc. Apart from the boredom and sometimes not having a balance lifestyle between work and life, it's been a great experience. 4 Likes |

akin101: 1. More than 4 years 2. Different timezones, worked with UK, Indians, US, Australians. First they must know I'm a proud Nigerian, if they are unwilling to work with one then they should f*CK off with their money. 3. Depends on project, min $15 per hour. 4. Both temp and permanent. Currently on permanent with Automatic. 6. Software engineer 7. Hired, LinkedIn, Hubstaff talent, we work remotely, stackoverflow etc 8. Stable, been using MTN for a while. 9.If you are a Developer, build a lot of projects. Be able to defend your project. Clients will come knocking. Ignore those street peeps calling you Yahoo as long as you are legit 15 Likes 3 Shares |

Remote Job is bae...if you know you know ..... Mind you if you have access to internet and a PC /Phone and you ain't earning @least $300 monthly then it's your undoing. The problem with most people not earning online is simply not been able to convert their skills or passion to money! The basic principle of influencing your customers or consumers!!! My experience is that there are many educated illiterates like ojuu4u, who still thinks anyone working remotely online is automatically an internet fraudster. Because he has seen and heard stories or internet fraud, then his myopic, small, limited mind sees every online money making as a fraud. |

Re: Remote Work: Your Experiences As A Remote Worker by flames01: 1:19pm On Apr 23, 2021 |
princewilly007: Do you want ojuu4u to call you an internet fraudster? You better go and look for a physical work like bricklaying, learn work like mechanic or sell tomatoes in the market so that ojuu4u will not call you a fraudster. As far as his limited mind is concerned, anything outside a physical business is internet fraud. Very childish and stupid mindset. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Let me start by saying it’s a bitter sweet experience. In giving context, I live on the mainland and work in Lekki phase 1. (Un)Fortunately for me I drive but the mad traffic I face everyday is telling on my health. So working from home is great in this regard. But having done that for a year, it’s now getting boring and tiring. Notwithstanding having Netflix subscription, premium cable subscription and what not, one cannot underestimate the value of human interaction. This is not how we humans are wired to operate. 5 Likes 1 Share |
