Indian nominal GDP per capita for this year is readjusted GDP due to negative growth after lockdown. (Rebound growth projects over $2500 in 2022).

India doesn't appear only. Nigeria's human development indicators are below what India used to be in 1991.

It's only oil thing that keeps Nigeria's per capita high while on ground situation is similar to Niger and Somalia. India's per capita GDP is growing at 8-10% while in Nigeria, GDP and population growth are similar and it doesn't grow.
So, India's GDP per capita will be safely double of Nigeria even if it enters economic stagnancy because India's population growth is below p.a.. In normal situation, India will be 4 times.

European companies couldn't compete against China and India's low cost manufacturing. West didn't any "favour" to allow India to make things anyway. Their companies came to India for their profit and but India used them for its own profit.

Aren't these symptoms also existing in west at different levels? Or aren't such problems not there in Africa?

Caste system is almost extinct from Urban India and only mild in rural one. India's "suppressed" Muslims have higher literacy, better poverty rates and fertility ratios than Africans.

As for northeastern states, only 5% of population have east Asian Chinese Japanese looks (and they hate China more than rest of India). Most population there is Bengali and has mix Nepali-Indian looks.
