How Nigeria Can Best React To Igbos UK Asylum by NASTYNASOSO: 5:36am On Apr 24, 2021 |
UK’s decision to give asylum to IPOB and MOSSOB members should not be a cause for much concern to the Nigerian government if it can get its diplomatic acts right . Left to me the FG should even assist by providing free transportation and BTA to any member of these organisations that intend to emigrate to the UK, plus, all those hardened criminals, murderers, drug barons and Yahoo Biafrans should be released from various jails and shipped to the UK to enable them benefit from UK’s magnamity and let’s see how it goes. Fidel Castro use this method in 1980 when the United States govt. offered asylum to Cuban dissidents, Known in history as Mariel boatlift, it was a mass emigration of Cubans, who traveled from Cuba's Mariel Harbor to the United States between 15 April and 31 October 1980. After 10,000 Cubans tried to gain asylum by taking refuge on the grounds of the Peruvian embassy, the Cuban government announced that anyone who wanted to leave could do so. The ensuing mass migration was organized by Cuban Americans, ( their own Nnamdi Kanus) with the agreement of Cuban President Fidel Castro. The arrival of the refugees in the United States created big political problems for US President Jimmy Carter. The Carter administration struggled to develop a consistent response to the immigrants, and many of the refugees had been released from jails and mental health facilities in Cuba. Few months to the program crime rate in Florida the nearest state to Cuba incresed by 80% while the famed exotic Miami beaches became the rape capital of the U.S The Mariel boatlift was ended by “mutual agreement” between the two governments (Carter actually begged Castro) in late October 1980. By then, as many as 125,000 Cubans had reached Florida. Let Nigeria respond to UK’s overtures to Biafrans in the same manner and see how sympathetic and compassionate the UK’s government is towards “ oppressed” people. IPOB members are not criminals like you're trying to compare them with Cuban criminals. UK even has more to gain by accepting NDI IGBO who are the most enterprising people of the African race. But they have made it clear that they prefer a referendum to achieve their independence over assylum. They will never surrender or abandon their ancestral land if that's what your suggestion aims to achieve. 8 Likes |

Let our enemies continue to lose sleep as we continue to make progress. The UK asylum program while it gives recognition to the plight of the Igbos and other Biafrans in IPOB and MASSOB doesn't solve the generational oppression of Biafrans. We have reiterated that what we want is a referendum to decide our fate. We have been killed enough. Let the world hear our voice. Nigeria is not the first country to be divided and heaven will not fall when she divides. We don't want to share a country with state sponsors of terrorism. GBI GBB. 4 Likes 1 Share |

orisa37:This is the fact. The British are enabling Fulani terrorism with this nonsense Asylum. You are granting asylum to people to flee their land so that terrorist in power would move in. Thank God IPOB has said what they want is referendum. 1 Like 1 Share |

Plays in the number 10 position for clubs like Plautue United and Iwuanyanwu National them.. Very gifted and skilled in the mode of Okocha the.. I think he's from present day Delta State or so.. Dude retired and disappeared... Was just wondering if the username was a play at his name/legacy.. |
