I drove on 3rd mainland Bridge after it was shut down for over 6 month, the potholes semm to be worse than before the bridge was closed.

It's foolishness to do such massive rehabilitation and not use the opportunity to relay the asphalt on that bridge. In few months, they'll start thinking of patching the potholes or relaying the asphalt causing another round of gridlock and wasting productive hours and piling stress on motorists.

I remember when I had a long argument with someone about whether the Independence Tunnel was actually a tunnel. This woman is actually intelligent (which is why I don't understand how she would argue that it's not a tunnel) and she almost convinced me that it was not a tunnel, but the facts are very clear. It is a tunnel.


Her point was that it is an underpass/overpass, not a tunnel. But my point was that an underpass is a type of tunnel, so how can you say that "It is an underpass, not a tunnel"?

The focus here is: "what do people want?" If the government leaves the road pending the completion of the others, you people would still talk. Infact, in a recent thread, this particular road is among the mentioned as needing government immediate interference. Yet here you are, still blaming the same government for responding to call to duty.
No pessimism would stop Lagos state developing.
