A leader is not that man who through bullying, intimidation and use of force commands the affairs of others in a way that shows his superiority as against the weaknesses of his subjects. A leader should be a fellow of good reputation whose humility, sincerity and passion for humanity endeared him to his people to the effect that they elect or select him to preside over their affairs. A good leader therefore, does not perceive himself as superior to his subjects rather, he sees himself as a humble servant whose fundamental responsibility is to serve the good interest of his people.

A good leader should be able to guide his people (subjects) to the part of positive development which will manifest in availability of employment, provision of social amenities, security of lives and properties, availability of affordable and quality healthcare/education system, and above all, absolute respect for the "rule of law".

A good leader must at all times have it at the back of his mind that leadership goes with a lot of responsibilities, therefore should be prepared to face its challenges with sincerity. Election, selection or appointment into leadership position should not be seen as an opportunity to acquire wealth, victimize those who have wronged you in the past, exploit the weak and put in the path of misery your subjects; rather, such privilege should be seen as a call to impact positively on humanity by providing help to the needy, conforting the afflicted, restoring the hope of the hopeless and ensuring security for the vulnerable.

It is my dream to have our society led by good leaders who will serve the interest of the masses rather than their self interests.
