This is why going abroad without proper documentation is not advisable. Italy is already one of the countries in the EU that struggles to provide employment for its citizens, so foreigners, especially those who don't have legal status are in a tough spot to find employment. Many have to resort to illicit activities like drug dealing, prostitution, and hawking while facing the risk of deportation.

Imaging fleeing Nigeria just to go and sell hand bags on the streets of Europe while you are trying to avoid authorities. It's not dignifying!
