Good day all. I have an issue that is bothering me. I recently got a federal Govt job. Although we've started work, but nothing too serious as the training will be coming up later. However, I am also a developer and I have been working remotely for a company (A private company).

I intend to resign from my remote work when the training starts or when I enroll for IPPIS (anyone that comes first) as it will be rigorous for me and I don't want to be collecting double Salary.
The issue is we've not even done IPPIS capturing since resumption, so no salary for now, although I learnt everything will be paid at once.

My question is: is this allowed?
Does IPPIS checks renumeration retrospectively?
Like, what has happened before enrollment, since I do not tend to continue after enrollment.

The moment your name appears on the nominal roll form with your details and your IPPIS number, you'll begin to receive your pay without any hindrance....

You can be receiving double salaries from two federal government jobs and nothing will happen until probably somebody whistle blow on you....

What they want you to believe is that the IPPIS is perfect.. Have you heard anyone persecuted for receiving double salaries before? But there are people still receiving double salaries from IPPIS....

CBN pays based on different ministry's budgets.... If you work with two different ministry's and you get captured differently, you will receive different salaries..

Check the system, there are many people answering the same names and attended the same schools and are working with almost the same certificates and they are receiving pays...

If you feel that IPPIS is really living up to it's mandate... Then I believe there should be no argument on this no more...

Do both jobs. Nothing happens in the civil service so you'll get very bored. Just keep the existence of the other job to yourself in the office.

the worst thing you would ever do is to leave that private job.

ippis can't detect if you're earning any extra income from another company. you will eventually have to fall back on the pay from the private company because government job gives you ample time to relax but the pay is small except you're a senior officer. As a government employee I want to learn something like coding for more pay

IPPIS can only detect renumeration for two FG government jobs. You have nothing to fear receiving extra salary from a private hustle.

You can work for both companies since one is FG and the other is private.
