Well, however we trace or paint it... There can never be any way we can make excuses for Buhari! His failure is abysmal and honestly unconnected to his predecessor.

The fact that insecurity started with Obasanjo (Pathetic tale) is no reason why Buhari couldn't or shouldn't have done the needful within his first tenure. This means he had several years prior to GEJ's removal to plan the eradication of security challenges in Nigeria. He did nothing but worsen an already bad situation.
