MBA Forex Trading Company investors in Port Harcourt protest over the inability of Maxwell Odum the chief executive officer to refund it's investors their capital.

As we all are aware of how MBA Forex last year October defrauded it's investors billions of Naira and shut down their operation and absconded with Nigerians money.

How Maxwell Odum and his company MBA Forex Trading was able to pull this scam through for over two years without CBN and Security and Exchange Commission stopping them during their early stage of operation before investors gained confidence in them shows that CBN and Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) hierarchy are in cohort with Maxwell.

As they say in our local parlance money don change hand, for MBA Forex Trading to operate illegally for over two years with known CEO and offices across Nigeria, unlike MMM shows how weak and wicked our regulatory agencies and government is.

With MMM scenario and MBA Trading Forex cashing out on innocent Nigerians justifies daily that Nigeria is a Banana Republic where anything goes without no consequences.

The citizens will go without blame too that such a Ponzi scheme/scam involving billions of Naira and people will move on as if nothing ever happens.

In saner clime they would have called for the resignation or sack of CBN governor and Security and Exchange Commission D.G for massively defrauding of it's citizens under their watch.

Really there was a country! The government has failed and the citizens are failing too, who now bails the cat.

Doing wrong thing at the right time.
Instead them to protest about the incessant killings on daily basis, they are here protesting for something that is meaningless.

The reason we have government to protect it's citizen both the gullible and vulnerable.

Warning by SEC was not enough, what did SEC do to an illegal company defrauding Nigerians.

SEC would have shut down the company in it's early stage and liquidate their assets and refunded the few investors then.

They allowed them to continue to operate and Nigerians that were skeptical about MBA from the beginning saw that the company has survived for two years and gained confidence in them and invested.

Not only that they went on air radio having seminars and talk shows selling the company to would be investors saying they have CAC, SEC certificate and are regulated by these agencies, same SEC never did anything.

To me I felt government looked away because Nigerians were facing the worst form of hardship occasioned by bad government, covid-19 etc that so many people were surviving on monthly MBA Return on Investment (ROI) so MBA took away peoples frustration against the government, at least people were earning monthly (ROI) despite been out of job and high inflation rate.

Had it been SEC or Government did something against MBA, the same people would have protested that the Government or SEC don't want their progress undecided

SEC can't do much since the said victims never complained when the going was good. SEC warned against investment in MBA and even mentioned their name in their publication too as a red flag. To me anybody that lost their capital to MBA is a bald-headed mad man that need 1000 lashes of cane. SEC and CBN have come out again yo warn people against investing in crypto as it is unregulated and prone to scams and people are asking if it is cbn's business to tell them where to put their money too. But when water pass garri same set of Chartered accountants will rush to condemn them for not stopping the scammers. All MBA investors are scammers and the owner the king scammer who outsmarted other scammers.

Always put a foot forward at a time, thanks for your concerns but I know poverty will make you want to cry more than the bereaved. We invested what we can comfortably let go and still didn't regret the attempt, like you said, I learnt multiple lessons that are beneficial to me going forward. Thanks and think more of yourself, I am always covered. Proceed of the ponzi, still being ferried. ETA on onne port is june. My brother, speak for yourself. Thanks

You should sell it and distribute the proceeds to those naive ones you deceived into the Ponzi scheme either by your insincerity, or by your attacks on those telling the truth.

Else, karma will always follow you as you cruise this metal guilt-wagon.

my poor brother, proceed might not mean I got more money from them, it simply meant I learnt lessons that is enabling me buy a car even when it wasn't in my plans for the year, it means what I played with is still what I can comfortable over look which is what I advised from onset. it means no regret and balling at my pace which the chief criers cant, if they think, lets see the car you are driving as at 2021. why are you guys expecting "dangote" to cry when he loses 5m naira, you can cry blood when you lose 500 naira but don't use that poverty stricken mentality to rate others. as long as nobody is crying to your hearing or if they do, address them, as I stated clearly that you play with what you can let go. In summary, I am afloat so cry your cry alone. I so meuvee

Hire people to work for you as traders and gain percentage. How they do it, I don't know but I trust them. But recently I was told they delved into crypto to boost profit, all I care is interest at the end of every month, it might not be huge but enough to give the traders something to go home with. Your employees gain percentage from profits.

How did the country fail them? SEC warned them by issuing a public disclaimer which they largely ignored due to their foolishness.

Instead of wasting their time protesting they should get together and contribute money to hire a hit man to delete the bastaard who stole from them! angry
