Purity by the Word

Psalms 119:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

Beloved, in this generation wherein lies youthful lusts and worldliness of diverse kind, you can only live pure by giving heed to the Word of GOD.

To be cleanse from all sin and to live pure and sanctified, you must daily give heed to the Word.

John 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

A Christian who will live clean must give diligent heed to the Word of GOD. It is disheartening that many believers focus on prayers, pray for long hours but are void of the Word, this is why there are many who pray and pray yet battling with impure lifestyle and filthiness of the flesh.

From the anchor scripture, a young man is faced with diverse temptations to be filthy and live a life of worldliness and sin but the way through this is most importantly giving heed to the Word: studying, reading, memorising and of very great importance meditation. This guard your heart from sin. The Word gives you power to say no to sin.

If you don't know Him, how will you please in purity? For He is the Word. This generation of believers are given to worldly pleasures and fleshly lust, immoral thought and Words this is because they do not give diligent heed to the Word, are you one of these? You heart can't stay unoccupied, instead of occupying your heart with worldliness, fill it with the Word.

Now is the time to change your ways and make it an habit to give diligent heed to the Word of GOD and obedience of it. Daily, esteem the Word above anything whatsoever, sit up with the Lord, let Him sanctify you by His Word and surely you will live pure.

Finally Beloved, you can't be reading the Word and at the same time confirming to the world, therefore first is to repent from all sins, the world and its lust and give diligent heed to the Word which will transform you to a person of purity.

Remember, Heaven is pure, and whosoever will enter into Heaven must be pure and this can be achieved by the mercies and Grace of GOD through His Word.

Beloved, give diligent to reading, studying, memorising, meditation and obedience to the Word of GOD. Also at the same time, don't relent in prayers.
