ivandragon: Nigeria's current financial woes is to be blamed on LACK OF SYNERGY between the current economic management team and the politicians. How do I mean? The economic management team ought to have seen this reality as far back as 2019 and ensure strict implementation of measures to address the situation before today. Yes, you will mention social investment programs, but of what market value is the cash given out to the masses via those programs and for how sustainable is such for a nation that depends on oil and facing the threat of dwindling crude oil price in the international market. The politicians are on their own part requesting and collecting raw cash for developmental projects in their constituency to either build the projects or share the raw cash. They also saw the insecurity situation as a business to cash out real dollar bills, a reason why they lacked the will to probe missing funds meant to procure arms for the defense of the country. Effective leadership is key to bringing the nation out of this reality, let persons with knowledge and skills in national economic management lead the economic team (Not stressing the VP, who is of the legal world and except him to perform miracle as head of economic management team). The politicians should also be forced to comply with extant financial guidelines and laws, as such laws are meant for the economic stability of the nation as a country. On the insecurity situation, till Government and her appointees starts seeing it that they are running their administration down and doing a great disservice to the nation, it will not come to an end. Its sad to accept the fact that the Nigeria army and police that have achieved feats in international assignments cannot safeguard her local and international boundaries. |

The God of the Ijaw nation is a great God, the God that sympathised with Jonathan for all the evil Nigerians did to him. Now is the time for Nigeria's reward. Una never start! Fashola said 6 months is enough to solve Nigeria's power problem, they made him power minister, 6 years down the line power is still elusive. Rotimi Amaechi lied that Jonathan built no trains, today as transport minister he has eaten back his words and is facing challenges in the rail sector. His rail project in Rivers state was abandoned by his successor. Muhammadu Buhari said fuel subsidy is a scam, he made himself petroleum minister, under his watch every kobo Nigeria earned has been used to pay for fuel subsidy. Would it be right to call Buhari a scammer? Na God go judge all of una! 2 Likes |

Blame the global pandemic , not the government. As useless as Naija goverment is, blame the pandemic, Everywhere is affected. It does not matter if Buhari leaves office today. Businesses worldwide are collapsing , food price is up everywhere both home and abroad. If you can earn income and you are healthy , just be grateful to God. 1 Like |
