Its the opposite of what they are and they know it.Just imagine someone like GMB OR Hope Uzodinma Majority with such titles. Most if not All are kleptocrats, and Official Criminals. Being addressed as "Your Excellency" in the most should be an insult to people of excellent character. Let us just leave it at Mr President or Mr Governor. Could you imagine how the international community laughs at our leaders when they are addressed with such lofty and meaningless titles? |

The honour is for the Seat they occupy not them or their personalities Just like Prince Harry that dropped his seat at the ruling royal house of British Empire, he lost many royal title .. same way some of the political office holders are stripped of such tittles 1 Like |

I am 100% in support of this. Even the title "Honourable"should be jettisoned as well. They're all bunch of failures. Nothing excellent or honourable to admire. |

This, you just outlined here is one of the things that pisses me most about Nigeria. This craving for titles. Honourable this, excellency that. I vowed never to address anyone with these. Annoying, undeserved, unnecessary. In Nigeria, politicians think they are royalty. Bast*rds. All of them! |
