gkw: tried tha new srt 4669x s/ware from crosat and my receiver is repeatably going on standby on switching on , nway are there any special instructions on box to box upgrade i would waant to do tomorrow ? Can someone kindly remind me pliiiz

gkw: i have noted that similarities between 69x and 69xii by way of processors , memory etc , so my next question is is it not possible to flash 69x series with 69xii software from the strong website ?

interesting post!! , nway i wanted the orignal sware(firmware) for the 69x box cant find it on their website? the patch is working fine though .

You got me cracking up dia. From experience, i've found out dat most times, the softwares gotten from persian wizkid and crosat are better at addressing some of our FTA needs dan the official softwares. At times, strong stops releasing softwares for a particular machine. Dats when crosat and wizkid comes to our rescue. A good example is the current auto update to version 300p being embarked by strong where u find out dat 6969 and 8280 no longer works. Dats why u see people not looking for the official one as it's more or less of no use. Hope we are good now. Regards.
