Earlier today, micro blogging platform Twitter obliged to earlier rumors that the company is testing a new Tip Jar feature. The new feature uses a combination of some of the major online payment platforms, the likes of PayPal, Venmo, Patreon, Cash App and more. According to a tweet by @Twitter "show your love, leave a tip, now testing Tip Jar, a new way to give and receive money on Twitter...more coming soon."



Also, a recent post on Twitter's blog stated that "Tip Jar is an easy way to support the incredible voices that make up the conversation on Twitter. This is a first step in our work to create new ways for people to receive and show support on Twitter – with money."
