Leke and Adeolu, the two surviving sons of General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, have both shaved their hair and beards in honour of their late brother, Dare.

Pastor Dare died in his sleep on Tuesday, May 4 in his home in Eket, Akwa Ibom State.

In a video posted on Sunday, Leke said: “This is our tradition, anytime we lose a fallen soldier as youths; we shave off our hair as a sign of respect and honour.

“To live is Christ and to die is gain. It is very simple. PD is already gone. How are you living right now? Heads shaved, clean hearts and clean minds.”

Leke added the hashtags, #forPDee #NotTodaySatan

Several male members of the church have also gone bald and cut off their hair to show respect for the deceased who has been widely described as a “soldier” for Christ.
