The Akwa Ibom State Government has directed that henceforth, all Youth Corps Members posted to the state be assigned to schools to teach. The decision was made during the Executive Council Meeting of the State Government presided over by Governor Udom Emmanuel on Monday at Government House, Uyo. The government also directed the Ministry of Education make Agricultural Science a compulsory subject in all public schools while Agricultural science teachers are to be recruited and posted to all schools. This is not a good idea, not all corp members can teach. They should use thise who studied teaching... If not na stories we go hear later... |
