Imagine , importing cement from Ghana at less than 1500 and selling at 2200, 2300 in Nigeria. I laughed in Greek and if I may ask you how many plantations of yam and cassava have you cultivated this year, since your rational mind sees this as the new gold mine. Do we all have to boycott all sectors and concentrate on farming only because of an irresponsible government. How many farmers are in Europe, America and even the middle east (gulf) that they are lavishing in abundance. Mind you, I am not a risk averse person but every profession has its own risk and you must be sure of what you are investing your money on and not a 2-days (1hour) seminar that will turn you to a fish farmer over night. In my own view, when rice are imported from India and Thailand, life is more bearable to Nigerians than buying a sub standard, poor quality product at very high price all in the name of local content.
