This question has been generating waves and it had a lot of twitter user retweets. Some are still very positive of making it in Nigeria with such amount while others are strongly opposing it saying they’d preferred a working permit in America to such huge amounts in the contemporary Nigeria.
So Nairalanders; what will be your choice if you have the dice of 15,000,000.00 or a work permit in America.

No matter how rich you are in this country you are always experiencing hardship and you can't confidently say you had life treat than average people abroad.

I won't think twice before going for the work permit option. I'll make more than #15m in the long run + give my children unlimited opportunity.
Nigeria at the moment is not business-friendly; Investors leaving Nigeria for other countries speaks volume.

Before December last year I would have gone for the 15 million.

But I know better now; the Nigerian business ecosystem is unpredictable. One government policy can cripple all you took years to build. In my case, last quarter of 2020 was hell. $7,500 and years of business almost went down the drain.

So I’ll go for the work permit and live in a country where the government consults citizens and stakeholders before it takes on a new policy.

Work permit in the USA for sure. 15 million naira in this deteriorating economy won't be enough, before you close your eyes and open it, all the money is gone. A work permit in the USA would open different opportunities and pathways to make more than that 15 million naira in year.

Work permit

15m is not a lot of money when converted to US dollars. I live here in the US and I see a lot of Nigerians who are doing non professional jobs that have more than this in savings (through prudent spending and doing lots of overtime and were able to have this saved up in 2 years) . So you can imagine when you now do professional jobs with your work permit that pays even more, you can definitely have far more than this within a year saved up somewhere and also even invest in other areas to increase your savings.
The truth is there is always a job for you to do in US if you are not lazy..you will definitely continue to make money but if you take the 15m naira and do business in Nigeria and things don't go the way you planned it, that is the end.
Let's not even talk about other benefit you will enjoy in US so yes if I were to be in Nigeria and I am to pick between having a work permit to work in US or 15m..I would go for the work permit.

As in last week dem kidnap my guy mom and him small pikin. Dey release dem yesterday after paying 1.8m ransom. Today dem don kidnap another 2 person for same area, oya now tell me why I no go comot for Naija, even if na to trek enter Spain
