EFCC Vs Osogbo Boys

There are reports of protests against EFCC's alleged harassment of youths in Osogbo.

Information reaching us has it that some officials of the EFCC stormed Adetunji Estate, Òsogbo in the middle of the night to raid some suspected internet fraudsters. Young men in the area have blocked major roads in the axis to disallow the officials from moving.

Happening now in Osogbo.

Some youths protesting EFCC harassment have now blocked the Dele yes sir roundabout. I am told the same thing is going on in other places like Lameco junction.

A better approach must be employed to curb this fraud menace, rather busting into people's home and extorting them.

Any official that crosses into my compound without invitation has trespassed and as thus might get an Uduak-Hindy Judgement.

High rate of unemployment, poverty, insecurity, cost of doing business, ease of doing business and constant harassment of citizens by law enforcement agencies!
I'm not in support of Internet fraud but frustration has led many youths to this as their last hope and resort to making it, in a country that's systematically designed to make things extremely difficult for you and make you fail!

Make the system in every sector of our nation work and watch how crime and fraud will greatly reduce.

EFCC should go after corrupt politicians that have stolen the present and future of our nation!
I want to see more arrests and more convictions devoid of political, ethnic or religious affiliations!

For those quoting me due to misunderstanding, if we really wanna end Internet fraud we should go for the root of the problem and not the branches and leaves.

If their work is legit, there is no need to protest. No work, no source of income but u are riding #10M cars ..

Just tell them the source of ur money and go ur way

Soon, just very soon!!! It’s like a cankerworm when disrupt it burst in the open.
You invite the Office holders yet burst into lives of young citizen in bid to extort.
“Like someone said trespass and get annihilated”

If their is a whistle blower, let him/her get enough evidence to nail the culprits when they have been invited for questioning.

Don’t bulge into peoples property because Nigeria Judiciary has failed this nation with their corrupt practices.

Which country on earth will the judiciary committee go on strike. Youths arm yourselves and decorate any official with hot oil act with defense they are intruders.

And what you think about tax collectors? Even Christ Jesus recognized a tax collector so who are you to speak for God?

If can "bomb" for two years and may likely cashout big once say 10million. Why not use that 2 years and learn a IT related skill that would pay me until either senility or dementia sets in due to old age, my personal opinion though.

This is both a win-win game and a lose-lose for the Nigeria. Many youths have become entrapped in this devil's game and see no other way to make it.

On the other hand, we have an EFCC that has given little to no account on how the money and property seized from Yahoo boys are used. All we have is probably a transfer of ill-gotten wealth to a group of corrupt government officials. Youths need a re-think.

Criminals have really organized themselves, they supported EndSARS to continue unhindered now they want to end EFCC, but we will make it very clear to them that if their parents did not raise them well, the long arm of Justice has raise them.
