MOBITEL IS A SCAM, I PAID FOR A 1MBPS (1024 KBPS) NITE PLAN, AND I WAS JUST RECIEVING A BANDWIDTH OF BETWEEN 100-150KBPS, WHICH IS VERY POOR AT MY LOCATION IN FESTAC TOWN. AND SECONDLY IT TAKES TIME TO CONNECT , ITS DISCONNECT AND CONNECT ANYHOW. I EVEN WENT TO THEIR OFFICE AND CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE SEVERAL TIMES ALL WENT TO NO AVAIL. EVEN I TRIED BROWSING THE INTERNET AT THEIR OFFICE AT TRADE FAIR, BALOGUN MARKET. WHERE I GUESS THE BASE STATION IS CLOSE. STILL RECIEVING THE SAME BANDWIDTH HAS 100KBPS - 150KBPS. EVEN HAS AT TODAY THAT RAIN IS FALLING THE NETWORK IS JUST CONNECTING AND DISCONNECTING ANYHOW, AND I AM MAKING USE OF THEIR INDOOR HUAWEI MODEM,

NOW I PAID AGAIN FOR THEIR 2MBPS BANDWIDTH ( 2048KBPS) 24 HOURS PLAN, AND GUESS WHAT I AM JUST RECIEVING A BANDWIDTH OF JUST BETWEEN 120 - 250KPBS. IT REALLY SUCKS AND HORRIBLE , TOO POOR FOR FOR ONLINE DOWNLOAD STREAM, SO I WOULD ADVICE YOU REALLY THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU BUY. COS AFTER THESE SUBSCRIPTION I WILL RUN FOR MY LIFE AND SELL MY MODEM AWAY COS IT REALL SUCKS BADLY.

1mbps =1024kbps/8 =128KBPS, so if u get between 100KBPS- 120KBPS then ure right on sir. I dont work with mobitel but if u get this speeds then ure right on sir.
With even 512kbps u shld be able to stream live videos without any hitch.

btw, y are these pple selling this hotspot so expensive? any android fone running gingerbread will serve as a hotspot just fine, mine does, and i can connect up to 5 devices to as mtn dey shout up and down.

learn to look before you leap.   they told you  2 Mbps, i.e. 2 mega bits
it is not the same as 2 M[b]B[/b]ps which is megabytes



1 Mbps = 1024 Kilobytes per secs = 128KBps
2Mbps = 2048 Kilobytes per secs = 256 KBps

or are u saying that you are getting 32KBps?


pls clarify your use of the [b]KB[/b]ps and k[b]b[/b]ps


which is funny, cos unless you do not have data caps, even Gsm coys give averagely 128 KBps (when dem head correct sha o, as per Mtn and Glo)


i think the advantages you may have will be Low Latency, No Limits, and little fluctuation.

my mobitel 4g 10gb just got exhausted today i subscribed 5 days ago for the plan 10gb ,it used to be unlimited ,i use it for my cafe but luck ran out on me .i had to fall back to starcomms 100hrs for 6500 for now at least .i think mobitel4g is dealing with their customers ,unlimited plan is now 30k ... lol ...thank God i neva sell my starcomms.NO BE SMALL THIN OH.... bigfat .what other isp do you recommend out here

starcomms screwed me up ..now i have changed to unwired 4g perfect for my cafe dont know how long i am going to enjoy this new network but so lucky it is super fast ..tariff kool 512kbps for just 8k imagine i don turn to isp a s h a w o God save me ...lol
