Grammy winner, Burna Boy has come under attack for saying he does not make money from Nigeria.
Burna on Tuesday while responding to tweets by fans on Twitter said he is not a Nigerian artist and does not make money from here.

According to him, Nigeria is just for cruise.

His fans did not take his comment lightly as some went online lamenting about the number of times they streamed Burna’s music and attended his concerts.

Here are some comments gathered by DAILY POST from Twitter;

@Enacruzly “You are indirectly saying, we the fans in Nigeria streaming your music are not adding anything to your growth.”

@Bright_r “Burna Boy says he’s not a Nigerian artiste but can’t make a hit song without stealing lines from Fela music. The irony. Someone should remind him that 60% of his biggest songs came from Fela.”

@ DavidRegha “Burna Boy you are still a Nigerian artiste, winning a Grammy and having collaborations with foreign artistes won’t change that; Nigerians are the reason you are thriving in the music industry so stop feeling pompous. This attitude is the reason a lot of people dislike your personality.”

@Iamcandychief “Does that mean the person that said your success is tied to Atlantic is right? If you don’t make money from Nigeria, so why the Naija concerts? If you don’t make money from Nigeria so why are you using Afrobeats to make money?

@DekingKudos “If that’s the case, I think you should just make your next album unavailable for your Nigerian audience and let’s see how far you will go.”

@Greatkd2 “Na only Burna Nigeria fans I pity Sha

All your efforts wey you dey use stream that zoo album Burna still say he no dey make money from Nigeria.”

@Carbon3_0 “Sigh but I dey stream your music with money.”

@Innovativenig “You changed your dealer? You shouldn’t be caught tweeting this man! A lot of us including myself pre-ordered your albums. So how about your endorsements chief?

@ImmanuelSaba “So, Nigerians streaming your music are doing charity, noted.”
@JoeyAkan “ Burna Boy is stating the truth. The Nigerian music industry is growing and there are multiple income streams being created. But the current Holy Grail of Nigerian music is when the music travels and earn forex. Musicians make more money outside Nigeria than within the space.”

@Otunba “Lmaooo Burna don finally accept say Atlantic dey buy streams for am, baba say he no dey make money from Nigeria? Outsiders that paid for Burna’s concert in Eko hotel in 2018 in the mud.”

@Itzbasito “Burna Boy no rate his 11 outsiders at all, imagine saying na only cruise they give you.”

@ Dammy426 “ Our bragging right don increase, as Burna denied himself as a Nigerian, Wizkid is now the first and the only Nigerian artist to win Grammy.”

post=101823165:
@OP, most Naija men don’t have that type of good attitude you've got..
So when they are confronted with cheating,
they minimize, rationalize, and justify their behavior with statements like:

Every guy wants to have sex with other women. And when the opportunity arises, he takes it.

It’s a man’s biological imperative to have sex with as many women as he can. Why should I be any different?

If I got enough (or better) sex at home, I wouldn’t need to cheat.

I’m not doing anything that most of my friends don’t do. If you don’t believe me, ask them.

If my wife hadn’t gained so much weight—or if she was nicer to me, or more attentive—I wouldn’t have even thought about going elsewhere.

Why who would call getting a lap dance in a strip club infidelity? It’s just what guys do for fun.

And as we see on this forum on a daily basis,
If the police had been out chasing actual bad guys, I wouldn’t have gotten caught in that brothel, Why don’t they go after some real criminals?

I’m only sexting and flirting. Where’s the harm in that? I don’t meet up with any of these women in person. It’s just a game.

When some of us @MANNA were in the therapy business, we have a name for this type of reasoning, it is called : Denial.

From a psychotherapy perspective, denial is a series of internal lies and deceits people tell themselves to make their questionable behaviors seem OKAY (at least in their own minds).
Typically, each self-deception is supported by one or more rationalizations, with each one bolstered by still more falsehoods.

Keep it up OP.
It will always fall flat on their faces.

SAY NO TO CHEATING.
For the very first time on this Forum, you earned my full Respect! You are a real Man, not one of the numerous senseless currupt lilly-livered pussy-enslaved scallywags that have rendered Nigeria useless like this. Truth be told, today I see on NL why Nigeria is the most useless Black Country on Earth. How can the dimwitted sub-animals that shamelessly pride themselves as cheaters here be able to stand up for Justice, Truth, and Defend their future Generations from Bandits and killers?! It is WRITTEN that the more immoral and lustful a Man is, the more cowardly Sissy and useless his life would be, because having sex with 1 lady takes 50% of brain, living promiscuously like many Souless pussy-wasted walking-dead Southern Nigerian men here leave no Brain space remaining to successfully eradicate intruding Killers that are adopting and sodomizing their children and wives! Tueh on all your senseless brainless retards' heads. Shior!!!

U have to respect ur fans to stay on top!!

Ungrateful, arrogance and pride..how can 1 person have these at once? its really messed up..if naija comot hand for ur matter, its only a matter of months b4 u come begging.

The day Burna performed in Rome, this rubbish habit of his asking bodyguards to remove someone frm the crowd..he tried that rubbish in Rome..the guy they bundled wanted to call the police but the show organizers had to beg this guy for almost 30minutes, finally compensated him with 500euro..if he had called the police..the show would v ended, the guard will definitely be arrested and the organizers would lose money and the fans that paid to come watch u(including d one he ordered to b thrown out) will b disappointed.

HAVE SENSE BURNA

Many of U jus open ur mouth but shit comes out instead.. Is he the first artiste with haters? Wizkid has fans and haters, Davido has fans and haters, even their foreign counterparts like Drake, Nikki Minard and even Beyince all have Fans and haters but They still concentrate more on the fans than the haters. Why did he come back to Nigeria all the way from the UK drop his first single? He should have started his career in the UK since "our" Nigeria contributes nothing to him.

To close the first page of this Burning topic....

If you don’t make money from Nigeria,
so why the Naija concerts?
If you don’t make money from Nigeria so why are you using Afrobeats to make money?

If you don't make money from Nigeria,
' think you should just make your next album unavailable for your Nigerian audience and let’s see how far you will go.”

Moral of the Story
